The mysterious anonymous donor who has gifted five million to Harry and Meghan's foundation

Updated

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in luck because their foundation - Archewell - has had a considerable increase according to their latest 2023 tax declaration. This happiness is overshadowed because Charles III has once again vetoed them for Christmas

While the popularity of Prince Harry (40) and Meghan Markle (43) is declining in the United States over time, the couple remains determined to "do good" with the Archewell foundation, the charitable organization created after the birth of their first child to achieve that goal. However, they have received many criticisms because it seems that they continue to fall short of their goals and there are not many detailed explanations of their activities. But, for now, the foundation survives.

In Archewell's latest tax declaration, it has been revealed that a mysterious donor has injected the significant amount of five million dollars (about 4.7 million euros) for the Sussexes to continue spreading kindness. In addition to that astronomical amount, they also received another 335,000 dollars (about 320,000 euros) from five different benefactors. The British media Daily Mail and the Express have echoed the news in Europe, while in the United States, the most prominent media outlet has been the magazine People, which has reported that the foundation has grown in revenue volume thanks to that anonymous contributor.

Among the organizations that have received money from the Archewell Foundation is coincidentally a wellness center for women founded by Ashley Biden, daughter of the current President of the United States Joe Biden (82). It is said to be a strategy carried out by the Sussexes to solidify their stay in California, because following what the son of Charles III (76) revealed in his memoirs about recreational drug use his visa is reportedly under scrutiny.

"I believe there is a great possibility that his papers will be made public. It is the prerogative of the president. Also, the new Secretary of Homeland Security could order a review of Harry's immigration application. There are multiple things that could happen, but it would be in the best interest of the American people if the Trump administration releases Prince Harry's records for public scrutiny and Harry must be held accountable," stated the director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at the Heritage Foundation, Nile Gardiner, to the Daily Mail:

Biden may have turned a blind eye, but since the Democrats lost the last election, Donald Trump (78) has vowed to do everything possible to deport the royal. In this way, he aims to make an example of certain wealthy and famous individuals who believe they are untouchable and whom Trump considers dangerous to the development of democracy.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spent the last few months focused on charitable and commercial projects individually, and have rarely appeared together since their joint tour to Colombia during the summer. Many criticized the exorbitant spending of that trip because, in their opinion, the Archewell foundation has not yielded the returns they expected. Personally, the Sussexes are once again the affected party for the sixth consecutive time as the Windsors have not formally invited them to spend Christmas at Sandringham Castle in Norfolk, a tradition that dates back over a century. If there are no last-minute changes planned, Harry and Meghan intend to spend the holidays at their $23 million mansion in Montecito accompanied by some of their closest friends.
