In another attempt to give a youthful touch to the ancient British monarchy, the Prince of Wales hired the services of Will Warr to officially announce that Kate Middleton's cancer treatment had ended. Kensington Palace published on its website and distributed through various media a video of just over three minutes narrated by the princess while showing different family activities with their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
The children showed their playful nature in the video while participating in various fun activities with their parents. In one scene, the eldest son is seen smiling with a cricket bat as he walks through the forest with his family. The images also show the three children dressed in summer outfits while accompanying their family on nature walks.
About to turn 35, Will Warr, born in Brixton (London), has been in charge of shooting and editing the video clip. His premise is clear: he puts his heart and soul into each of his assignments. Therefore, he chooses them very carefully to dedicate the time they deserve. Will is no stranger to the Windsors as in 2021 Kate and William chose him to shoot the video of their tenth wedding anniversary showing the couple and their children playing on a beach and enjoying the garden of their residence at Anmer Hall.
In 2023, he captured images of the backstage of the coronation of Charles III. For several days, he captured the different activities that took place in London where he created an endearing video titled The Coronation Weekend, behind the scenes with the Prince and Princess of Wales in which, for example, you can see William and Kate's three children looking out the window of Buckingham Palace.
The passion for storytelling through images is innate in Warr. A graduate of Loughborough University, he is currently the creative director at Detail Films, where he works on creating engaging cinematic content for individuals, brands, and corporate clients. He is also a filmmaker and co-founder of Topjaw with his friend Jesse, focusing on travel and gastronomy guides, and runs Weddings by Will Warr, offering personalized wedding videos through a creative cinematic narrative.
Regardless of meeting the needs of his clients, he also creates content on social media, especially on YouTube. From creative design and art direction to post-production, animation, and sound design, Will and his team "build close working relationships with clients from the initial concept to the finished high-value product." The cameraman is married to Sarah Warr and is the father of a nearly 2-year-old boy named Frederick Skye Grayling Warr.
