The video's release came hours after the first U.S. attack on Iranian targets in a month. The offensive targeted Larak Island, located in the Strait of Hormuz, where, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), rockets loaded with naval mines that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard intended to deploy were destroyed.
The escalation also led to Iranian attacks on U.S. positions in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, although Jordanian authorities claimed to have intercepted the eight missiles launched.
