It was only a matter of time before Lexi Jones (24), daughter of the late David Bowie and Somali former top model Iman (69), made her debut in music. She has just done so with her album Xandri, which means defender of humanity, where she blends indie rock, alternative pop, and ambient electronic music. Additionally, as a visual artist, she designed the cover.

The young woman has two much older siblings, Duncan (54), from her father's side, and Zulekha Haywood (46), from her mother's side. Also known as Alexandria Bowie, she stands out from other celebrity offspring like Paris Jackson, Lourdes León, and North West in that she has always shown interest in self-cultivation. Since she was young, she has shown an unusual interest in art, music, and fashion. She is said to be extremely responsible, wants to stay away from the spotlight except to promote her work, and does not tolerate disrespect on social media.
On one occasion, a follower mocked her for posing in a swimsuit, so she quickly responded by stating that she had finally achieved a good relationship with her body after "years of hating it and disrespecting it." On her 18th birthday, her mother posted a joint photo on Instagram, and following the success, numerous agencies and brands contacted them for Lexi to model. Since Iman knows the business very well, she gave her youngest daughter some advice: "I know I am overprotective, so I told her that fashion can wait, it's not going to disappear. Have a private life while you can, because soon it will be public, so enjoy it."
The artist always keeps her father in mind and, therefore, on the second anniversary of his death, Jones and Iman got tattoos dedicated to the singer.
Jones chose a detailed crescent moon wrapped around the words 'Daddy xx 1947-2016', while the former model chose a heraldic dagger with 'David' on her ankle.
Like Bowie, his widow and daughter share the same hobby, painting, through which they try to channel their emotions. During the pandemic, this hobby intensified to the point of having gifted numerous works to their closest circle. Lexi's work is characterized by color contrasts and abstract characters that can be printed on clothing, bags, and other items. It is unknown if she is dating anyone special, but in the past, there were rumors of a romance with guitarist Tristan Beltrami, the son of the famous composer of Hurt Locker, Marco.
