US deports 200 Venezuelans to El Salvador for allegedly belonging to a criminal gang

A federal judge blocked the flights considering that the Foreign Enemies Law is intended for state actions, not gangs.

However, the instructions did not prevent 237 Venezuelans from landing in San Salvador to serve prison sentences there.

In Caracas, they believe that many innocent people are being included or perhaps those with a criminal record, but not for belonging to the organizations now labeled as terrorists.
