On the 1111th day of the war in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenski is preparing to meet in Saudi Arabia with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on the eve of talks in Jeddah between Ukrainian and US officials on ending the war with Russia in an increasingly precarious moment for Kiev.

Tomorrow's talks are expected to focus on a bilateral agreement on minerals and how to end the war.

Zelenski arrives in Jeddah with a message from Trump that Ukraine is "about to regain" access to US intelligence information, cut off as retaliation after the rift between the leaders.
