Renowned bodybuilder Jodi Vance has passed away at 20 years old due to a heart attack, as reported by her family in a post on her Instagram account.

"Jodi has passed away. Her heart stopped due to severe dehydration complications," reads the message to her 8,500 followers. "Despite all the hospital's efforts, they couldn't revive her," detail Jody Vance's relatives in the text.

As stated in the post, the bodybuilder's death was "sudden and unexpected." Her family, describing her as a "beautiful person inside and out," express a wish regarding the young woman's death. "If anyone takes anything from this, please prioritize your health," they urge.

According to 'People' magazine, Vance's trainer, Justin Mihaly, has also shared a video on Instagram, stating that he did so with Jody's family's approval. He explains that the bodybuilder made a "significant mistake that should not be taken lightly" and expresses his suspicion that she was taking "dangerous" substances that caused her dehydration. "She used two extremely dangerous substances to enhance her physique without my knowledge or approval," he adds.

In that message, Justin Mihaly states that "many people who cared for Jody tried to get her to ease up a bit" and points out that her vital signs upon admission to the hospital suggested she had taken a substance he had warned her would be dangerous. Her trainer describes her as someone who was "madly loved."
