The Kremlin confirmed on Monday the meeting for Tuesday between representatives of Russia and the United States in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, to discuss the normalization of bilateral relations, preparations for a summit between the presidents of both countries, and future peace negotiations on Ukraine.
By order of President Vladimir Putin, Russia will be represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, and the Kremlin advisor, Yuri Ushakov, who have already departed for Riyadh, explained Dmitry Peskov, presidential spokesperson, in his daily telephone press conference.
