The United States experienced a new shooting on Tuesday night that left one dead and at least five injured. The incident occurred at a cosmetics warehouse in New Albany (Ohio) and the police, who have already evacuated the employees, are searching for the shooting suspect.

The site of the shooting, a warehouse of the personal care brand KDC/One, has been closed off, and the five victims have been taken to the hospital, stated the public communications director of New Albany, Josh Poland. The shooter's identity is currently unknown.

New Albany Police Chief Greg Jones described the shooting as a "targeted attack" and mentioned that authorities do not believe the suspect poses a general threat to the public.

"There is a suspect, and we are trying to locate and take them into custody," he said during a press conference. A firearm was found at the scene.
