Agents of the Civil Guard rescued a Rottweiler puppy that had been thrown into an underground container in the town of Perales de Tajuña, Madrid, as reported by the Madrid Command.
On the 21st at around 09:00, a call to 062 alerted the Nature Protection Service (Seprona) in Rivas Vaciamadrid.
A couple walking their pet on the Tajuña greenway, in the area known as 'Pradillos', reported hearing a dog barking from an underground container in the area.
Upon the patrol's arrival and using a capture loop, the animal was successfully removed from the container, revealing a puppy that was in perfect condition.
The Rottweiler dog did not have a microchip and was handed over to the Perales de Tajuña City Council, which took charge of the puppy.
