The army of Israel killed three journalists on Friday in a bombing against the building where they were staying in the city of Hasbaya, in southeastern Lebanon, as part of the bombings against the Lebanese Shiite militia group Hezbollah.

The television network Al Manar, linked to the group, confirmed the death of one of its photographers, identified as Wisam Qasim. Meanwhile, the television network Al Mayadeen announced the death of photographer Ghassan Nayar and technician Muhamad Reda.

The President of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen, Ghassan bin Yido, stated that Israel is "fully responsible for this war crime in which several teams of journalists, including those from his media outlet, were attacked, adding that the Israeli army "delights in killing," as reported by Europa Press.

He maintained that among Israel's targets are journalists who "have exposed their crimes and, therefore, are hated with sadism and pleasure." Additionally, he added that the attack on the journalists' residence was deliberate.

The attack took place without any evacuation orders being announced in the area by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The day before, the Al Mayadeen headquarters in Beirut was bombed, although that office had been evacuated weeks earlier.

The IDF recently identified several journalists from the pan-Arab news network Al Jazeera as alleged "terrorists" of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Islamic Jihad. Israeli military personnel have even entered the network's offices in Palestinian territories and seized journalistic material.
