This Wednesday, Israel resumed its offensive against Hezbollah. At least 16 people died and 52 were injured on Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes in the city of Nabatieh, reported the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The casualties include the mayor of the town, municipal councilors, doctors, and a rescuer, as specified.

On Thursday, Israel stated that the Blue Helmets "are not a target," after the UN claimed that an Israeli tank fired at a peacekeeping soldiers' watchtower in southern Lebanon and denounced "direct and visibly deliberate shots."

The Israeli forces "are conducting operations against the terrorist organization Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon, stated the Israeli army in a release. "The infrastructures and forces of Unifil (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) are not a target," they added.

These are the data from the European Union's Oil Bulletin collected by Servimedia, indicating that compared to a year ago, gasoline is 11% cheaper and diesel is 16.4% more affordable.

Specifically, the average price of gasoline this week in Spain is 1.495 euros per liter, representing a 0.95% increase compared to the previous week's 1.481 euros. Thus, it is 6.1% lower than at the start of the conflict in Ukraine.

Ireland will continue to pressure the Twenty-Seven to review the EU-Israel partnership agreement

The Prime Minister of Ireland, Simon Harris, stated today that he will continue "pressuring" the EU heads of state and government to review the partnership agreement between the European Union (EU) and Israel, a position shared with Spain, as reported by Efe.

"My opinion is very clear: the world is not doing enough to create the necessary conditions for a ceasefire. We come to meetings like this, well-intentioned and regularly, nice words are said, but the mechanisms that could have been activated have not been," Harris said upon arriving at a European summit.
