Hours after four Israeli soldiers died from a drone launched by Hezbollah against a military base south of Haifa, the Israeli army has bombed a hospital in Gaza, leaving at least four dead and 40 injured. Additionally, they attacked a school in the center of the Gaza Strip, where about twenty people died.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, an Israeli airstrike hit the tents of displaced people inside Al-Aqsa hospital. The attack caused a fire that affected dozens of people, mostly women and children, according to Gaza authorities. Meanwhile, the Israeli defense forces confirmed they carried out a "precise attack against terrorists" from Hamas operating inside the former hospital.

On the other hand, about twenty Palestinians died on Sunday in an Israeli artillery bombardment against a school housing hundreds of displaced families near the Al-Mufti area, north of the Al Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Hezbollah claims new attacks on the border against Israeli "soldier groups"

The Shiite Lebanese group Hezbollah claimed three projectile attacks against Israeli "soldier groups" across the border, in the Labuna area and the Shibaa farms, with "direct hits."

The group also claimed the launch of "qualitative missiles against the Stella Maris naval base northwest of Haifa, in northern Israel," as well as an attack with "artillery projectiles against an enemy infantry force that tried to infiltrate Lebanese territory from the direction of the city of Markaba" in southern Lebanon.

"The Islamic Resistance will remain present and ready to defend our proud and oppressed country and people, and will not hesitate to fulfill its duty to deter the enemy," Hezbollah said in a statement on Telegram.

"Hezbollah's attack on the Golani base has caused pain"

The Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Army, Herzi Halevi, acknowledged that Hezbollah's drone attack on the Golani base in southern Haifa last night "is difficult and has caused painful results" after confirming this morning the death of four 19-year-old soldiers among the over 60 injured.

"We are at war, and an attack on a training base on the home front is difficult, and the results are painful. Embrace the grieving families, support the wounded, and strengthen the commanders and soldiers," Halevi conveyed during a visit he made last night to this training base.

With this statement, the Army refutes rumors spread on Sunday by Arab channels that Halevi had lost his life in this attack carried out by the Shiite militia.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq claims a drone attack in Israel

The collective of Shiite groups grouped in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Monday the launch of a drone against a "vital target" in Israel, a day after a similar attack by the Shiite Lebanese group Hezbollah caused the death of four soldiers in northern Israel.

"The mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked early this morning, Monday, a vital target in the Jordan Valley, in our occupied territories, using an unmanned aerial vehicle," said a statement from the Shiite group on Telegram.

It reiterated that this attack is "in support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly."

EU condemns all attacks on UN missions

The European Union condemns all attacks on United Nations missions, as stated by the Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, in response to attacks on the UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, known as UNIFIL, by the Israeli Defense Forces.

"These attacks against UN peacekeeping forces constitute a serious violation of international law and are completely unacceptable. The EU condemns all attacks on UN missions," Borrell declared in a statement on behalf of the EU published on Sunday night.

Israel has refuted some UN versions of incidents involving UNIFIL peacekeepers in Lebanon, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that they were serving as "human shields" for Hezbollah militants during a flare-up of hostilities.

In his statement, Borrell stated that "all actors" in the conflict have the obligation to ensure the security of UN personnel and assets: "We urgently expect explanations and a thorough investigation by Israeli authorities into the attacks on UNIFIL, which plays a fundamental role in the stability of southern Lebanon."

The Hamas government has reported four dead and 40 injured as victims of the Israeli Army's bombing of displaced people's tents at the Martyrs of Al Aqsa hospital in central Gaza this morning.

Multiple dead and injured after a bombing at a hospital in Gaza

Several people have died and numerous have been injured in an Israeli Army bombing of displaced people's tents at Al-Aqsa hospital in Gaza this morning, according to the Palestinian agency Wafa.

The Israeli defense forces confirmed in a statement early Monday that they carried out a "precise attack against terrorists" operating a command center inside what they describe as a former hospital. The hospital was "used by Hamas terrorists to plan and carry out terrorist attacks against the IDF and the state of Israel," the statement adds, without referring to possible dead or injured.

Al Jazeera, on the other hand, reports four dead and at least 70 injured, many in critical condition.

An Israeli attack on Sunday night killed about twenty people in a school turned shelter in central Gaza, as reported by AP, citing reports from local hospitals. In the attack, two women also died in the town of Nuseirat. The school housed some of the Palestinians displaced by the war.

The bodies were taken to Al-Awda hospital in Nuseirat and to the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir al Balah.

While the Israeli army deepens its incursion into southern Lebanon by arresting a militiaman in a tunnel for the first time, Hezbollah launched over a hundred projectiles and several explosive drones against northern Israel. One of these, of Iranian manufacture, killed four soldiers and injured over 50 by hitting their base next to Binyamina, 40 kilometers south of Haifa.
