As it prepares a "significant response" to the massive missile attack launched by Iran on its territory, Israel conducted new airstrikes in the vicinity of Beirut early Sunday. The Lebanese National News Agency (ANN) reported more than thirty bombings against different points in the Beirut suburbs of Dahye, which experienced their "most violent" night in a year of conflict.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army confirmed a series of nighttime attacks in the vicinity of the city, aiming to hit "weapons depots and terrorist structures" of Hezbollah. Their spokesperson stated that measures were taken to reduce the possibility of harming civilian lives, and advance evacuation warnings were sent to residents. They also affirmed that operations against armed groups operating in southern Lebanon will continue.

In addition, the government of Gaza, controlled by Hamas, reported that at least 26 people have died and 90 have been injured, most in critical condition, after two Israeli airstrikes in Deir al Balah, launched simultaneously early this morning.

"The occupying army committed two brutal massacres by bombing the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Mosque, adjacent to the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital, and Ibn Rushd School in the center of the Strip, places that housed hundreds of displaced people," denounced the Gaza government.

Additionally, flights from all airports in Iran have been canceled from Sunday at 9:00 p.m. until Monday at 6:00 a.m. local time, as reported by the Mehr news agency of Iran, citing a spokesperson from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised on Sunday to defeat Israel's "enemies," and the army bombed Hezbollah targets near Beirut on the eve of the first anniversary of Hamas' attack on Israeli soil, which triggered the war in Gaza.

"Together we will fight, and together we will win," declared Netanyahu during a visit to his troops in northern Israel, on the border with Lebanon.

"A year ago, we suffered a terrible blow," he added, referring to the attack by the Palestinian Islamist movement on October 7, which unleashed a devastating Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Israel declares "closed military zones" in three more communities near Lebanon

The Israeli army declared three more villages in the northern region of the Upper Galilee as "closed military zones" on Sunday, as it had done twice before since the start of the ground invasion of Lebanon early Tuesday, October 1.

The new military zone includes the kibbutzim of Manara, Yiftah, and Malkiah, according to a military statement, specifying that entry is now strictly "prohibited."

On October 1, the Israeli army also designated a closed military zone for the border agricultural communities of Dovev, Tivbon, and Malkia, all about a kilometer from the Lebanese border and evacuated for almost a year due to crossfire.
