The Ukrainian army has reported that it attacked an oil terminal in Feodosia, in the Crimea peninsula, causing a fire that has triggered a "technical emergency" in the city. Russian authorities in the region have stated that there were no casualties, but around 300 people are being evacuated.
"The Feodosia terminal is Crimea's largest in terms of petroleum product transportation, used, among other things, to meet the needs of the Russian occupation army," stated the Ukrainian army in a social media statement.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that their defenses destroyed 21 Ukrainian drones overnight: 12 in Crimea, six in the Kursk region, and the rest in Belgorod, Bryansk, and Voronezh.
On the other hand, authorities in Kiev have confirmed that missile debris fell in three districts of the Ukrainian capital during rush hour after Russian air defenses repelled an attack.
Russia advances in Donetsk with the capture of Krasnogorivka
Russian forces have completed the capture of the town of Krasnogorivka in the Kurajove axis of the Donetsk region's front, according to the Ukrainian Telegram channel DeepState, close to the Kiev Ministry of Defense and monitoring the war's daily developments.
"The enemy completes the full occupation of Krasnogorivka," writes DeepState referring to this Ukrainian municipality, which had over 16,000 inhabitants before the war and adds to the dozens of towns taken by Russia in recent months in their slow but steady advances in the Donetsk region.
During the previous day, Russian forces launched 17, 21, and 18 attacks in the Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Kurajove axes respectively, according to the first report issued on Monday by the Kiev General Staff.
After capturing the Ukrainian stronghold of Vugledar - which had 14,000 inhabitants before the war and was a Russian target since the invasion began - early last week, Russia continues its offensive in Donetsk and keeps pressing in the mentioned three axes of the front in this region of eastern Ukraine.
Cyberattack on Russian state media
The Russian state media company VGTRK stated on Monday that its online services had suffered an "unprecedented" cyberattack overnight. In a statement released on the Telegram messaging app, the company claimed that radio and television broadcasts were functioning normally despite the attack.
