Another day of the war in Ukraine, now in its 938th day. Both sides report new nighttime drone attacks and the response of their anti-aircraft defenses. Russian forces targeted energy infrastructures in the Ukrainian region of Sumy (northeast), launching 51 drones, with 34 being shot down by Ukrainian defenses.

On the other hand, the Russian anti-aircraft defense claimed to have destroyed 16 Ukrainian drones in the border regions of Bryansk and Kursk. The Russian army initiated a counteroffensive days ago to expel Ukrainian troops that entered Kursk, claiming to have regained control of twelve localities.

Ukraine continues to lose ground along the eastern front and is trying to leverage new diplomatic actions in the territory it controls in the Russian region of Kursk.
