Singer Celine Dion publicly criticized Donald Trump in a statement after discovering that he had used one of her biggest hits at a presidential campaign event.

The Republican candidate for the White House used the classic 'My Heart Will Go On' and Titanic soundtrack at a rally in Bozeman, Montana, something for which the singer wanted to make it clear that she did not give permission. "This use is not authorized under any circumstances, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use," said the singer's social media account after several videos circulated from the same event.

In the statement, the Canadian artist, who recently performed at the opening ceremony of the Olympics, not only criticized the improper use of the song but also sarcastically questioned its choice to accompany the campaign: "And really, that song?"

Trump held the rally on Friday to support a Republican Senate candidate. During the event, he personally attacked the vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, criticizing her for not giving interviews or holding large press conferences since taking office.

Celine Dion is not the first artist to complain about Trump using their songs at campaign events. Previously, singers and bands like Neil Young, Queen, and the Rolling Stones have also done so.
