Real Madrid continues to break barriers and explore territories that were not previously assumed for a sports club. This Wednesday, the 'white club' inaugurated in Dubai alongside Dubai Parks and Resorts the world's first football club theme park: Real Madrid World, as reported by Europa Press.
With an area of six hectares (equivalent to six football fields like the Santiago Bernabéu), the Real Madrid theme park offers over 40 experiences, including the iconic Stars Flyer, the world's tallest flying chairs at 140 meters high, and Hala Madrid Coaster, the first and only wooden roller coaster in the Middle East.
Among those present were the Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid, Emilio Butragueño; and the club's ambassador, Roberto Carlos. The two Real Madrid legends toured the facilities and participated in a clinic with over 100 children from the Real Madrid Foundation, on the football field located within the park.
"We are fully convinced that those who visit this theme park will immediately feel the excitement and enthusiasm that our shield and jersey convey. Here, a very important and beloved part of our history comes to life, born from the emotions and dreams of Real Madrid fans. As our president says, Real Madrid belongs to the heart of the people," said Butragueño.
"Real Madrid World is more than a theme park: it is a celebration of football. This is an exciting addition to Dubai's entertainment landscape with new, fully inclusive, educational, and fun experiences for everyone," stated Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment.
