The death of Liam Payne is the news of the day. All websites compete to have the most detailed and updated information on the death of the former One Direction member. But not everything is acceptable. And this is what numerous social media users have expressed to TMZ after the celebrity news website published photos of the singer's lifeless body.

The images did not last long on their website after the fierce and justified criticism they received. TMZ has removed them from their publication, which initially 'sold' them as an exclusive.

"TMZ obtained a photo showing Liam's body on a wooden terrace at the hotel with tables and chairs nearby. We do not show the entire body, but you can clearly see his tattoo: a clock on his left forearm and a scorpion on his abdomen," said the article containing the photographs.

But the content, particularly the images, did not sit well with X, where many profiles have lashed out against TMZ. "No matter what you think of Liam Payne, posting photos of his corpse is insane," wrote a user. "And TMZ, what a shame. Shameful," another opinionated. Famous faces have also criticized the outlet. Singer Alessia Cara wrote: "You're disgusting @TMZ".

"For TMZ to publish part of a photo of Liam Payne's corpse in an article announcing his death is more than deplorable. I don't know if I'm losing my mind lately or if society has always been so openly morally decrepit," another X user concluded.
