Shakira released her new song 'Soltera' this Wednesday, a track with afrobeat influences expected to become a "female anthem," as reported by Sony Music.

"Soltera is out now!", Shakira wrote on her social media, where she posted photos with Brazilian Anitta, Dominican Natti Natasha, Mexican Danna, Venezuelan Lele Pons, and models Shannon and Winnie Harlow.

The production company explained in a statement that the song has already generated high expectations on social media after filming the video at LIV in Miami, featuring cameos from Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Danna Paola, and Lele Pons. Since the celebrities shared the video dancing to 'Soltera', TikTok and Twitter have been filled with clips featuring the part of the song shared by Shakira.

Regarding the music video, Sony Music stated that it "will be released soon."

The 47-year-old artist released this song just a few weeks after being nominated for three Latin Grammy awards in the categories of Album of the Year for 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran', Song of the Year for 'Entre Paréntesis', and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance for 'Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 (Tiësto Remix)', the session that broke records for the verses Shakira dedicated to her ex-boyfriend, soccer player Gerard Piqué.

Additionally, the Colombian singer will start her tour of the United States and Canada in November, including concerts in Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Chicago, among other cities.

All of this adds to the concert she gave at the end of March. The Colombian singer filled the iconic New York square, Times Square, offering a free concert to present her new album 'Las mujeres ya no lloran', which became the most streamed in 2024 within the first 24 hours of its release and was certified seven times platinum.
