The Portuguese star has taken another step in his vast business empire that ranges from hotels to hair transplants. Alongside Matthew Vaughn (54) -director of X-Men: First Class and the Kingsman saga- he has founded the film studio UR·Marv with the intention of giving a new twist to storytelling without losing sight of tradition.

Two movies have already been fully produced by Ronaldo and Vaughn, with another one in mind. "This is an exciting chapter for me as I look towards new business adventures," Ronaldo stated to Variety, the entertainment bible. If the new venture proves successful at the box office, we would be witnessing an unprecedented phenomenon in sports history.

Additionally, he has stakes in the water brand URSU, collaborates with Crunch (American gym chain with centers opened in Valencia, Badajoz, Aveiro, or Matosinhos), owns a healthy living app called EURAKULIS, recovery products for athletes named Avathletes, is a co-owner of the watch brand Epic X CR7 with American watchmakers Jacob&Co, has image agreements with Nike, Whoop, Binance, and zujuGP, acquired full ownership of the Lisbon Racket Centre (paddle tennis) and invested 10% in Vista Alegre, the ceramics, crystal, and glass brand with plans to establish in Spain.

As if this weren't enough, the Portuguese also holds the title of the most followed person on Instagram with 651 million followers, with a considerable gap to the second, Selena Gomez (32) with 421 million.

Matthew Vaughn, globally known for marrying Claudia Schiffer (54) in 2002, with whom he has two children, Caspar (22), Clementine (20), and Cosima (15), stated, "Cristiano has created stories on the field that I could never have written, and I hope to create inspiring films with him. He is a real-life superhero." Interestingly, Vaughn co-owns Marv Studios with Schiffer, which according to the Daily Mail, in 2024 generated nearly 290 million euros, with 90 million in profits. Marv's activities include film production services, film and television distribution, brand licensing, and management of the Kingsman and Claudia Schiffer brands.

The Vaughn couple has been living for years in a 14-bedroom Tudor-style mansion named Coldham Hall, built in the 16th century in honor of King Henry VIII. The property is located in Suffolk county (England) and covers an area of 215 hectares, ensuring absolute privacy. The couple also owns other homes across the country, with their most notable being in the picturesque Notting Hill neighborhood in London.
