Joshua Blackledge, a teenage TikTok star, has unexpectedly passed away at the age of 16. The causes of the American's death, which occurred at his home in Newport, North Carolina, are currently unknown. The young man's family held his funeral on March 23.
An emotional farewell letter shared on social media has gone viral, written by his girlfriend, also a teenager, Emmie Gillikin.
"Missing this sweet boy right now. I never thought I would be here without you. Josh showed me what love really was, even though I am very young. He never failed to put a smile on my face, no matter how mad I was at him. I never thought I would miss those little arguments we had about absolutely nothing," she wrote.
"Josh was very loved by everyone around him, he was a great friend and, most importantly, the best boyfriend. Josh would do absolutely anything for me, even when he was at his worst. I could say much more about this guy who holds a big place in my heart and always will, but I want anyone reading this to keep their loved ones close while they are here and tell their best friends that they love them. We miss you so much Josh, watch over us and keep us safe," she concludes.
Joshua had thousands of followers on his TikTok profile, where he became famous for his entertaining videos. The young man was a big fan of cars, cooking, and gardening.
