Jeff Bezos (61) and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez (55), have set a wedding date and location two years after getting engaged: it will be in the summer, in Venice. The couple has decided to get married on Bezos' super yacht and have already sent out the invitations.

This was confirmed by Page Six, the digital newspaper about celebrities, which had previously hinted at the possibility of the Bezos-Sanchez marriage taking place in June, on Koru, the 500 million euro yacht owned by the Amazon founder.

However, the chosen location is Venice. After five years of relationship, Bezos proposed to his girlfriend in 2023, during the Cannes Film Festival. The engagement ring, estimated to be worth over 2.5 million dollars, features a 20-carat diamond that occupies a significant portion of her finger.

They celebrated their engagement party in Positano, another coastal town in Italy. Among the attendees on the yacht were Bill Gates, Ari Emanuel, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the Queen of Jordan, Rania Al Abdullah.

Lauren Sanchez confessed to Vogue magazine that she felt dizzy when she saw the ring. "I fainted a little bit," she said, after finding the jewel under the pillow.

At the Oscars gala, the specialized press began to speculate about the wedding date. The couple made their relationship official once their respective divorces were finalized in 2019.

Bezos was the first to do so. He was married to MacKenzie Scott, co-founder of Amazon and one of the richest women on the planet. She is in the top 5 after amassing a fortune of 35.6 billion dollars.

Six months later, Lauren Sanchez did the same with her husband Patrick Whitesell, president of Endeavor, a media and entertainment agency.

Lauren Sanchez plans to travel to space this spring. She will join five other women for their galactic visit. Kate Perry, journalist Gayle King, scientist Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, another retired rocket scientist who worked for NASA, and producer Kerianne Flynn will be part of the adventure.

The adventure will take place a few months before the wedding. The spacecraft, operated by Bezos' company Blue Origin, will reach the boundary of 100 kilometers from Earth, the threshold of outer space. "It's an incredible opportunity to show the younger generation how to reach for the stars. I feel honored to be among this diverse group of celestial sisters."
