It seems that Roberto Carlos (51) is not lucky in love. The Real Madrid legend has just separated from his seventh partner, Mariana Lucón, whom he married in 2009 and with whom he has had two daughters, Manuela and Marina. As a result of this decision, according to Estadio Deportivo, the former player has moved to the sports city of Valdebebas while his family continues to reside in the family mansion in La Finca of about 1,500 square meters. His former in-laws live in another residence.
The divorce process is at stake for the immense fortune of the former footballer, which, according to several sports portals, is estimated at around 160 million dollars from not only his salary and sports sponsorships but also from his lucrative investments in Brazil. In addition to the house, the former considered the best left-back in the world owns a significant collection of luxury cars.
Those who know him claim that he is very friendly, accessible to his fans, and loves being surrounded by children who come to ask for autographs despite being retired professionally for almost ten years. Regarding his personal life, true to his sense of humor, he confessed to La Gazzetta dello Sport that "I only had two wives. More difficult to count are the women with whom I had children." However, delving into the archives, it is known that his first wife was the Brazilian lawyer Alexandra Pinheiro, from whom he divorced in 2003 after 12 years of marriage and with whom he had three of his children, Roberto, Giovanna, and Roberto Jr, the latter adopted.
It is worth noting that his first daughter made him a grandfather at just 44 years old. After the separation, Alexandra confessed to ¡Hola! that the main reason was that "our relationship had worn out and to prevent it from deteriorating or us developing animosity towards each other, we preferred to end it and remain friends." After Alexandra, other attractive women came along. With the Brazilian lawyer Alessandra Martins, he had Luca, with the journalism student Simone Hamilko Carlos Eduardo, with Barbara Thurler Bernardo and Betina, with the Hungarian Alexandra Fedra Christopher, and with the Mexican Dora Robles Rebecca Carla.
Roberto Carlos reveals the crazy life of Real Madrid's galacticos: "Today I think, how is it possible that we did so many foolish things?"
Not all his separations have been peaceful according to what some of his ex-partners shared with the press. For example, Barbara confessed to Lecturas that she wanted to "put her two children on the street," as apparently the former athlete had tried up to three times to evict them from the apartment in Itaperuna (Brazil) valued at 120,000 euros. They finally reached an agreement. With Alexandra, the situation reached the courts because he was not paying child support for their son, and Dora also had trouble receiving maintenance, but she preferred to resolve everything privately.

A few years ago, he admitted on a Brazilian radio station that he had many problems seeing his children due to conflicts with some of his ex-partners: "It's a shame not being able to be close to the kids. I don't have much contact with my children because I have issues with their mothers, who only think about the financial aspect. Although their affection is impressive (...) I suffer a lot for the two children living in Rio de Janeiro. Their mother only calls me to ask for child support. Fatherhood is complicated. I try to give my children the maximum love, but their mothers only want more money. They use the father to gain benefits."
Currently, Roberto Carlos works as a commentator on Real Madrid TV and is an ambassador for the team's foundation.
