Actor Jamie Foxx did not have a good celebration at his 57th birthday party. According to the 'Los Angeles Times', the American actor required medical attention after being hit in the face with a glass at a restaurant in Beverly Hills, as reported by Efe.
The incident occurred on Friday night at the famous Mr. Chow restaurant when "someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth," a spokesperson for the actor told the newspaper.
Foxx, who turned 57 on December 13, received medical attention and stitches in his mouth. He is currently recovering, according to his agent.
Beverly Hills police responded to a call about a possible assault with a deadly weapon at the restaurant, but after an investigation, they determined it was a physical altercation involving "multiple parties". There were no arrests, as reported in a statement.
In April of last year, Foxx was hospitalized for 20 days in Atlanta (Georgia) due to a medical emergency that started with a headache.
