Members of Arran, a youth organization linked to the CUP, have entered a property owned by former footballer Gerard Piqué in the region of La Cerdanya (Girona) and have painted the phrase "out with the posh" on its walls, as explained by the organization on social media.
This action is part of a campaign in which Arran aims to "go on the offensive against the tourist monoculture that suffocates the Pyrenees, against the posh, the rentiers, and the speculators who make our lives miserable."
"While you have to leave La Cerdanya because you can't afford the rent, 64% of the housing is second and third homes (...) Posh jerks, we are not your decoration," concludes the message.
The video shows them spray-painting messages like "out with the posh" on Piqué's residence, while a voice-over states that "the posh from Barcelona who come to have fun with the ski slopes and golf courses have no place in our territory."
