British singer Adele (36) revealed from the stage of Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas that she is dealing with a "quite terrible ear infection". She mentioned this over the weekend during one of her latest Weekends with Adele, the concerts as a resident artist at the iconic venue. The show, which starts minimally and incorporates a waterfall and fireworks as it progresses, will conclude on November 24th.

This health issue is a challenge for Adele. The bacteria causing the infection is limiting her hearing ability. "I've never experienced anything like this," she explained to the fans. "It's the most painful thing that has happened to me in life. Worse than childbirth. It's a rare water bacteria, very difficult to treat."

Adele's performance at Caesar's Palace had been rescheduled, originally planned to start two years ago on January 21, 2022. The production was postponed as both she and her team had contracted Covid. It began on November 18th and, after adding dates, the two weekly concerts will conclude next month in November.

On September 1st, during a concert in Munich, Adele announced her retirement from music. "I've spent the last seven years building a new life for myself. Now I want to live it." Throughout her music career, Adele has amassed a fortune of over 220 million dollars. Adele had a five-year hiatus between the album 25 and the following one, 30.

In another concert in Las Vegas, she confessed during a conversation with a pregnant fan that she would like to be a "mother soon." The author of Rolling in the Deep has an 11-year-old son with her ex-husband, Englishman Simon Konecki. Divorced in 2020, they split 117 million dollars. She is now in a relationship with Rich Paul, a sports agent.

This past weekend, in addition to addressing her hearing problem, she paid tribute on the same stage to Céline Dion. The legendary Canadian singer suffers from stiff person syndrome, a rare disease that affects the nervous system. Adele and Céline Dion (56) couldn't contain their emotions and, according to EFE, they hugged and broke down in tears at the concert where Céline Dion was a guest.

While singing her song Easy On Me, Adele visibly became emotional upon seeing Dion among the audience, approaching her for a hug, while spectators cheered, as seen in the images from the encounter shared on social media, quickly going viral with thousands of views.

Subsequently, Adele posted a message on social media: "I've been performing at Dion's venue in the Colosseum (in Las Vegas) for almost two years now", recalling that the stage where the British singer performs as a weekend resident artist was the same one Dion chose for her concerts two decades ago.

In her message, Adele states that she "only wanted to perform there because it was built for her (Dion). She also admits to having a photo of Céline right next to the stage that she touches every night before going on."

"And seeing her there, on the side of the stands - continues the British singer - was a big surprise and a MOMENT." "I love you so so so much," Adele confesses to her idol.

Adele expressed to her role model that the words "can never truly define" what it means to her that she attended one of her concerts with her family.

The performer of Skyfall and Hello acknowledges that she will always remember the Saturday night and that thanks to being there with Céline, she has been able to "close a circle" in her life.

The Canadian singer, who suffers from a severe and rare incurable neurological disease called stiff person syndrome (SPS) and is mostly retired from the music scene, made a comeback last July at the opening of the Olympics by performing, from the Eiffel Tower, Edith Piaf's Hymne à l'amour.
