A professional athlete, whose name has not been revealed, prevented an alleged sexual assault by Sean Diddy Combs on a man who had attended a party organized by the famous rapper, according to the complaint filed by the alleged victim.
A new lawsuit against the singer filed in New York by a victim under the anonymous alias John Doe on the 20th of this month reveals these events that occurred in 2022 in Los Angeles (USA), as reported by the media E!News, Efe reports.
The plaintiff, described in the complaint as "owner of a family business specializing in luxury car and jewelry rentals," said he was invited to the eventby Combs, 54, who had been a frequent customer of his company, as reported by E!News.
Upon arrival at the party, the plaintiff saw many "high-profile guests," but Combs "ordered" him to meet in his office for a private conversation, as stated in the complaint.
"The plaintiff assumed that Combs wanted to have a business conversation," the complaint says. "However, he immediately realized that Combs was drunk and acting strangely," the American media adds.
Then, the popular songwriter and producer "removed his pants and exposed his genitals to the plaintiff", before grabbing those of the alleged victim who, "shocked and disoriented," as stated in the complaint, "did not know how to respond to Combs' sexual insinuation."
According to the complaint, the situation "escalated" until an anonymous professional athlete "entered the office and intervened, putting an end to the assault."
The plaintiff says he suffered "significant emotional trauma and distress" as a result of the alleged incident. He has sued Combs for compensatory and punitive damages.
This new lawsuit against the artist adds to over a hundred lawsuits for sexual abuse - of men and women - the most recent filed last Sunday, including one from a woman who claims that in the year 2000 she was drugged and raped by the artist when she was 13, in the presence of two celebrities.
The artist, also known as Puff Daddy, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is in prison, will stand trial on May 5th next year.
