Fans of Cardi B will not be able to enjoy the presence of the singer and actress at the One MusicFest in Atlanta, Georgia. Cardi B has had to cancel her performance, scheduled for next Saturday, due to a medical emergency that has led her to be hospitalized, as reported by Efe.

According to the singer's own statement on her Instagram account, the medical issue occurred almost two months after giving birth to her third child, from her relationship with her now ex-husband, rapper Offset.

"I am very sad to share this news," wrote Cardi B in a message shared on social media, "but I have been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency in the past few days and will not be able to perform at the ONE MusicFest in Atlanta."

The 32-year-old singer did not disclose details of her health condition and simply added that she was heartbroken for not being able to see "my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there."

"Thank you for understanding and I will soon come back better and stronger. Don't worry. I love you all," said the New York singer.

Meanwhile, the festival organizers echoed the artist's message and wished her a speedy recovery.

"Unfortunately @iamcardib has announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to health issues. We will keep her in our prayers for a full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date. More information will be coming soon," wrote the event organizers on their Instagram account.

Cardi B gave birth to her third child in September, just a month after filing for divorce from the Migos member after seven years of marriage.
