The signing of Kylian Mbappé (25) by Real Madrid, whose grand presentation took place this afternoon, marks the end of five years of torment. Throughout that time, the Madrid club made tempting offers that never materialized. But persistence pays off, and finally, the player will receive a salary of ¤14 million net and around ¤40 million as a signing bonus. This amount is significantly lower than what he earned at Paris St. Germain, which reached ¤72 million gross.

With a fortune of ¤150 million, Mbappé is causing almost as much excitement as David Beckham (49) and Gareth Bale (35) did in their time. Like them, he has chosen to live in a luxury mansion only suitable for deep pockets. Initially, there were rumors that he might buy a property in the exclusive residential suburb northeast of Madrid, La Moraleja next to Richard Gere (74) and Sergio Ramos (38), but after considering various offers, he opted for the La Finca development. The exclusive was first reported by OKDiario.

In this select Madrid area, he has become enamored with two houses. The first is a mansion he purchased for ¤11 million - two million less than the original price - with 1,100 square meters on a 3,000 square meter plot. Interestingly, it is the same property Bale acquired during his time at Real Madrid. The house features 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, multiple living rooms, huge terraces, a chef's kitchen, two pools (one indoor and one outdoor), sauna, jacuzzi, basketball court, football field, gym, and a cinema.

The garage has space for seven cars. Despite not having a driver's license, Mbappé is a luxury car enthusiast and among others, owns a limited edition Ferrari 488 Pista worth ¤500,000. The property also includes a guest house.

The other significant house the player has acquired is also located in La Finca but in a less luxurious area. This time, he has rented it for his mother, Fayza Lamari (49), who undoubtedly played a crucial role in Mbappé becoming one of the most important and famous footballers in the world.
