Art on wine bottle labels
SALVADOR DALÍ, 1958
In 1958, Salvador Dalí drew on the label of Château Mouton-Rothschild a sheep reminiscent of a child, opening the door to other pioneers of contemporary art who, in the following decades, would print their gaze on the baron's bottles.
YOKO ONO, 2000
Yoko Ono participated in Nittardi's initiative, which since 1981 has commissioned an artist to honor the memory of the Renaissance genius Michelangelo Buonarroti, owner of this Chianti Classico winery in the 16th century. Ono's work was a double tribute, since in the drawing could be read the words "Imagine You", in reference to John Lennon.
