To define the present, the French label has looked to the past. For the Haute Couture collection for Spring/Summer 2025, Maria Grazia Chiuri has searched the archives of the maison and reinvigorated two of the ideas that marked the way for couture in the 1950s: the Cigale silhouette, sketched by Christian Dior in 1952, and the Trapèze line, conceived by Yves Saint Laurent on his debut at the house in 1958.
