Valentino ready-to-wear fall-winter 2024/25: Pierpaolo Piccioli goes all-in on black and scores a total of success!
Black, black and more black. All 64 of the Valentino shows at Paris Fashion Week were in this colour, not a single detail of any other. Black for extreme transparency in garments with a certain retro feel, with a profusion of embellishments: embroidery, sequins, fringes and feathers create in the mind of the brand's creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, a dark but luxurious, elegant and sophisticated world, which we will surely see on the red carpets. If Piccioli says that black is in, then black is in, as was already the case with fuchsia. Amen.
