Jewels, gorgeous dresses and scandalous looks in the film Maria Callas starring Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie bears as much resemblance to La Divina (1923-1977) as an egg bears to a chestnut. But that's the magic of cinema, isn't it? It convinces us that, during the duration of the film, which in the case of the Maria Callas biopic that is being released today is two hours and four minutes, fantasy is capable of effectively supplanting reality. The tumultuous life of the most famous opera singer of all time, with her love affairs, her successes, her sufferings... and her looks, has given Angelina Jolie what is probably the most ambitious role of her career.
